Mayfield
Opened in April 2005 Balance Mayfield remains the Hunter Region’s premier integrated Fitness/Aquatics facility. The $16 million facility encompasses an architecturally designed building, climatically controlled conditions with a multitude of specialised environments to cater for the diverse needs of the members.
Located adjacent to Wests Mayfield on Industrial Drive, Balance Mayfield is recognised as the Hunter’s first “international standard” fitness facility and training home of the region’s premier sporting team - Newcastle Knights.
Balance Mayfield, with its 4,000 square meters of floor space, contains the largest and greatest variety of cardio equipment within the region (84 pieces of cardio equipment), spacious group fitness studio, the region’s largest cycle room (40 bikes), The Yard (outdoor training area), purpose built high performance training area, 25 metre and 12.5 metre heated pools, ice baths, steam room and spa and magnificently appointed change rooms (including lockers, hair dryers, iron boards and private change areas).
To complement these state of the art facilities, Balance Mayfield has a great variety of fitness and aquatics programs aimed at servicing member’s needs whatever the age, health status, goal or personal preferences. Balance Mayfield has something to suit everybody’s desire.
